Relatives: Family: Harold Wisdom (Father), ? (Mother), Romany Wisdom (Sister) |
Bio: Pete met Lily Lehnsherr long before his days with Black Air, in an english pub he was natorious for hanging out in. The two spent years together, during this time working for them mutant Sinister. It was when Lily was nearly gutted by Sabertooth that they left his employment. Lily vanished one day for the x-men, and Pete to Black Air. A highly-trained operative of the sinister Black Air agency, Pete's qualifications include paranormal investigation, espionage and the occasional assassination. |
Pete met Kitty and the rest of Excalibur in Genosha, sent as a representative of the British government by Black Air, supposedly to investigate a possible Genosan civil-war, It wasn't meant to be a combat mission but Pete was forced to fight with his hot-knives when the group were caught in the cross-fire of a Mutates/Human skirmish. Injured and disgusted with Black Air for dropping him in it, he began falling for the Shadowcat and subsequently returned to Muir with the team. |
Lary and cynical, with limited clothing taste; Pete was allowed to join the team |
After bringing down Black Airs Dream Nails project, partly in revenge for the death of his friend Cully ("It boils down to they killed my mate and I'm not having it") and a drunken night out in the Chalk and Cheese. |
Lockheed took an immediate dislike to Pete and decided to start stealing his clothes and cigarettes, as well as convincing the rest of the team Pete was insane by only talking to him when no-one else was around. With Moira Pete settled into a relaxed routine of bickering about his smoking and her infamous coffee. |
He had the crap kicked out of him by Kittys ex, Colossus, who had turned into a complete nutbag- but was eventually allowed to join the team anyway. Pete was later beaten-up again, this time in Germany, by his ex, Sari, another Black Air agent. |
Wisdom then lent his extensive knowledge of Black Air to Excalibur in order to rescue Douglock, stop a rampaging Demon under London; and in the process bringing down Black Air. He and Kitty also assisted F-66 (Police Paranormal Branch) in catching a mutant serial killer as a favour for his old friend Jardine, whose daughter Amanda had been kidnapped by the killer. |
Pete was a bit of a slob, with a fondness for booze, cigs and the traditional english breakfast, he had an ingrained sense of honour and doesn't take compliments well, coming from a relatively 'normal' background. He found the best way to treat the insanity of Excalibur and all other things X was to sit back, see it objectively and occasionally joke about the whole thing. |
He and Kitty eventually split up and Pete left Muir- his last appearance in Excalibur was an unknown location getting very pissed on what looked like some very cheap whiskey. It was then his old mate Lily called him up and asked him to come to New York and work at a bar she'd just opened. For a bribe of scotch and the ability to see one of his only living friends, Pete took Lily up on the offer and went to New York where he now resides. Enjoying the insanity that is the Five Aces, Pete felt right at home. During the Fall of 2000, Pete watched over little Erik, hopeing that neither parent would die and leave him with the kid. Luckly it was not to be. Often, Pete watches over Lily carefully, his reasons for doing so unknown. |
